This is just a note to commend you on the fine group of people that work for you. I was in Fort Dodge visiting family when I had some car trouble. I had my 80 year old mother and 4 year old grand-daughter with me. It was very hot, and my car would not start. I have a Camry so I called your Toyota office and talked with Joe Utley. Since it was only a couple of blocks away, Joe came and jumped my car. He had to come a second time, as it killed on me after he had left. When I got to your dealership the car was promptly checked over, it was only a battery. Which they replaced in less than an hour. Every person from the girl that answered the phone to anyone that approached me was very friendly and accomadating. Your showroom is beautiful too! Just want to say thanks to you all. This is to say thank you in a big way for coming to help us when our luck was down. Last Friday, we received a call for the Des Moines paramedics telling us that our son was in extreme pain on his right side. My husband could hear him screaming in the background as they were transporting him by ambulance from the college conference track meet at Simpson College to Des Moines. As we were heading down to Mercy Hospital we hit a huge deer by Webster City which left our Toyota van damaged to the point that we didn't feel that we could drive it. We asked to be towed to the nearest Toyota dealership. We called you, Casey, and you were very willing to come out and help us at 11:00 at night! You didn't even know who we were, yet you were very quick and compassionate to help us. Consumer Reports always rates Toyota vehicles as one of the top vehicles to own. I wanted you to know I think you work for a good organization. My Prius had a glitch in the engine last week. Your mechanics diagnosed a bad sensor and ordered a new one. I was told the cost of the sensor and labor would be $300 to $400. The car was 2,000 miles over the 36,000 mile warranty so I expected to pay for the repair. When the mechanic fixed the problem and I was told they would consider it still under warranty, so I paid nothing. That was a welcome surprise.
