Our History: Fort Dodge Ford began in October of 1996 when Casey Johnson, his wife Deb, and two sons Nick and Matt moved to Fort Dodge, Iowa to purchase the existing Ford Lincoln Mercury dealership. At the time, the dealership was located several blocks away from the current location and featured a one-car showroom and 19 employees. After nearly seven years of growth in the initial location, Casey and Deb decided to make a long-term commitment to Fort Dodge. They purchased the Toyota franchise in July of 2003, and built a brand-new facility to accommodate the growing business. Casey and the entire Fort Dodge Ford team wanted a facility that would make the people of Fort Dodge and surrounding communities proud, so the dealership was built with that in mind. The showroom is covered in marble floors and complete with an indoor new vehicle delivery area. The customer lounge is stocked with complimentary coffee, cappuccino, pop, bottled water, fresh baked cookies, and also has a television and fireplace. The women's restroom is complete with chandeliers and the men's restroom has three televisions. The Fort Dodge Ford Toyota Service Center contains 39 service bays and is full of trained and certified technicians to ensure quality work is done in a timely manner and the body shop is equipped with a state-of-the-art paint booth and the latest in technology to serve your needs. Casey and Deb Johnson were recently awarded with the "Salute to Dealers" award presented by Ford Motor Company, an honor only bestowed upon 9 dealership owners in the country for their outstanding commitment and contributions to their community. Also, Casey received the 2008 TIME Magazine Dealer of the Year Award for his active participation and contributions to his community and the dealership won the Toyota President's Award. There are currently over 80 employees working at the dealership and we are continually striving to improve our business and to satisfy our customers.
